- Thursday, May 2: Elbert County National Day of Prayer: Meet at the Old Kiowa Courthouse grounds, 215 Comanche St, Kiowa, from 5:30-6:30 pm. Praise music and small group prayer led by facilitators. Bring a lawn chair.
- Men of Valor: Saturday, May 18th : Join the men of Elbert County for breakfast at 7:30 AM at the American Legion Hall in Elizabeth
