Active teens and engaged leaders join together each week to have fun, build relationships and learn more about our great God.

AWANA – Wednesday evenings from September – April

6:05-7:50 PM   Register Here!

The Awana ministry for youth continues to build on the foundation laid during the elementary years but is also easy to jump into if you’ve never been a part of an AWANA Club before. TREK for middle schoolers and Journey for high schoolers teaching the tools to study God’s Word and continues to encourage scripture memory and Bible reading.

As youth take more ownership of their spiritual growth, parents can come alongside to help practice memorize verses, dig into finding the answers to the lesson questions or read along with the same Bible readings so they can discuss the unique books of the Bible together.

MVC AWANA TREK and Journey leaders are dedicated to helping young people continue the AWANA journey that culminates in the Citation Award for seniors.

FYI:  The acronym AWANA comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed”
