Missions & Missionaries We Support

Acts 1:8 tells us that we are to reach out to Jerusalem (Kiowa and Elbert County) and at the same time reach Judea (USA), Samaria (Canada, Mexico and Central America) and the Ends of the Earth (The rest of the world).

We must never forget that, “God so loved the world that He gave”…. and so must we.

One of the main reasons for God’s blessings on Majestic View Church is our commitment to Missions. MVC supports both global missionary operations, as well as missions involving some of our own congregation members. In fact, with God’s help, we have been blessed in being able to help plant 5 churches here in Colorado.

A & K

Chad, Africa

A & K (names withheld for protection) are working from a base in a small town in the middle of Chad. Their focus is to bring the knowledge of Jesus to a nomadic tribe that has no known Christians.

Sara Filimon

Romania, Europe
BMA Missionary

Sara Filimon is a native of Romania and serving in her country as part of a team that is working through local churches to disciple, train and equip Christ followers.

Jeremy Hambrice

Papua New Guinea, Oceania
BMA Missionary

The Hambrice family are working to bring Christ to the Wantakia people of Papua New Guinea. They are currently learning the Wantakian language and developing strong relationships with the people.

Rob and Jenni Hanson

Portugal

Rob and Jenni are in Portugal as a response to God’s call on their lives. Portugal has decriminalized all drugs and prostitution, resulting in much addiction and pain across the country. Rob and Jenni are going to “proclaim good news to the poor, bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners” (Isaiah 61:1). They plan to plant house churches which will be connected together through worship times.

Joshua and Meagan Phiri

Zambia, Africa
BMA Missionary

Joshua and Meagan are in Zambia, Africa, helping to build Christ’s body in the villages surrounding Livingston. As part of the Baptist Missionary Association of Zambia they value Kingdom Advancement by preaching, discipleship and church planting. They also value Caring for Families in Distress through sponosoring children with education and food and caring for children who do not have adults in their lives. Finally, they value Providing Resources for Life through community development projects, clean water, medical camps, education and farming projects. Meeting people’s needs shows God’s love and softens the ground so the Word can be planted.
